We call it "A First Look," because in that first engagement, we can meet with you to discuss your goals, assess the information you provide, develop a research plan and build the beginning of your family tree. You choose whether you prefer for us to go "deep," meaning go back in time as far as possible on one branch or go "wide," meaning locate what we can for all your great-grandparents before moving back to your 2nd-greats. . . .
The $3500 First Look includes 20 hours of personal consultation, verification of the records and information provided by you, and introductory research into the first 4 generations of your family history. At the end of this engagement, you may opt to purchase another 20 hour block of research for $3500 or upgrade to one of our book collections.
By selecting the $5500 First Look which includes 30 hours allowing me to do more in-depth research and analysis of your ancestors while I am first engaged with the source material and it's all still fresh in my mind.
With either collection, you will receive a Digital Preview Book of your Family Tree, Family Group Sheets, Individual Timelines and all of the records discovered in this research block. We'll go over these findings with you to give recommendations on further research and see whether you would like to turn this raw data into a polished, published family history book.
