Let's Go, Mark Taylor!

Picture
My husband, Mark Taylor, is the courageous traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivor of a catastrophic pedestrian/ Tesla crash, June 2020. Mark inspires us with each baby step towards recovery as we wait hopefully, expectantly on our Sovereign Lord to restore Mark fully to himself and to his family.

One fine morning in June 2020, as he was taking out the trash in front of his Dallas, TX, home, Mark Taylor, the 46-yr-old entrepreneur and married father of 3 teenagers, was run down by a man engrossed with his phone, trusting that his "self-driving" Tesla wouldn't destroy any lives that day.

Mark is now a 1-year SURVIVOR having gone through the hell of being struck by a Tesla at 45+mph as he was walking away from the trash cans on the street in front of his house, sustaining a grossly severe traumatic brain injury and body-wide catastrophic injuries. A year later, he is now a severely brain-damaged quadriplegic unable to speak or communicate and requiring the round-the-clock supervision and care of 2 caregivers. He desperately needs wildly expensive assistive technology; specialized, custom equipment, and rehabilitation for the rest of his life.

Whether you know him from growing up with him, having him rescue you from your crises in his capacity as an APPLE certified consultant and data recovery expert at his company, TAYLORMARK, or have heard his story through a friend of a friend, we welcome your support!

We, Mark's family, are grateful for all the prayers, messages of encouragement, and financial contributions that have kept us going. If you feel led to contribute and/or share Mark's needs within your own circles of influence, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Our precious daughter is using her craftiness to raise money to help pay for Mark's ongoing needs. PFM stands for "Pray For Mark" and is meant as a reminder for you as well as an opportunity for you to share his story whenever someone asks what PFM means.

#letsgoMarkTaylor is our rallying cry and how you can find us on social media and gofundme. If you want to wear one as a reminder to pray for Mark and share his story, these silicone bracelets are my gift to you. Due to the labor involved in mailing these individually, I would rather send a bundle to a church or other group to distribute to interested people in their tribes. Email me at [email protected] with "bracelets" as the subject heading with your request.

Thank you for donating and soliciting for our silent auction!

First items for our silent auction!
Do you have anything to donate?

Email the description and photos to me at [email protected] along with a suggested minimum bid.
Dates for the auction will be set after all donations have been received.
